CONTRACEPTION --
Information, medical exams, and contraceptive supplies.

  • Condoms are available without a prescription or physical exam. Condoms can also help prevent sexually transmitted infections.

  • Birth Control Pills are hormone pills taken daily. In some cases, the PAP smear and pelvic exam appointment can be scheduled for a later date.

  • IUD's are intrauterine devices that can be inserted for up to 10 years.

  • Diaphragms are used as a barrier that covers the cervix  (the opening to the uterus).

  • Depo Provera is an injection that prevents pregnancy for three months. In some cases, you can get an injection and schedule a return appointment for your PAP test and pelvic exam.

  • Ortho Evra is a transdermal (skin) a new patch is applied weekly to buttocks, stomach or upper outer arm. Patches are worn for three weeks and then removed for one week.

  • NuvaRing is a non-biodegradable, flexible transparent vaginal ring about 2 inches in diameter that is easily inserted into the vagina by a woman. It is worn for three weeks and then removed for one week.

  • Abstinence is not having sexual intercourse. It is 100 percent effective in preventing pregnancy.

Also known as the "morning after pill," this dose of hormones can prevent pregnancy  if taken within 120 hours of unprotected intercourse.

CANCER SCREENING FOR WOMEN who need regular PAP Tests or breast exams.                     

SEXUALLY TRANSMITTED DISEASE TESTING AND TREATMENT FOR MEN AND WOMEN. Most of these services are provided at no charge through a contract with the Pennsylvania Department of Health.

HIV/AIDS Testing can be done at no charge as part of an STD visit.

PREGNANCY TESTING AND REFERRAL FOR ALL OPTIONS including prenatal care, adoption, and abortion.

  • If you’re under 18 years old, and not covered by medical insurance, our services are free.  

  • We take most insurance, including Medicaid.  

  • If you have prescription coverage, you can use your pharmacy card for contraceptive supplies.

  • If you have no insurance, your fee will be determined by your family size and monthly household income.
